Dr. Kimberly VanBuren is a long-time resident of San Antonio where she proudly serves as a Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. In addition, her focus on Work/Life Balance centers on practical techniques to promote long-term change, improving the overall quality of life in the chaotic world we live in.
Dr. VanBuren’s commitment to promoting Work/Life Balance and Preventative Mental Health began while serving her country in the United States Air Force. After her enlistment, she continued to serve in the Psychology Department of Veteran Affairs Hospital. Today, she continues to have strong ties with the military population, currently providing ancillary mental health and Work/Life Balance services to local military installations.
As a prominent integrative relationship therapist and Life Management Coach with more than 15 years of experience, Dr. VanBuren was compelled to develop programs designed to assist organizations and individuals experiencing work/life difficulties. An F.L.O.360 Method is an interactive approach to transforming the behavior and attitudes of organizations and individuals in the workforce.

With compassion, understanding, skill and enthusiasm, the Balancing Act team works with organizations and individuals on identifying strengths and achieving goals.
Dr. VanBuren has a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Development, a Master of Arts in Psychology and is a dually licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/Licensed Professional Counselor. Through her company, Balancing Act Life Management Services, she supports individuals, couples, families, and companies with creating healthy wellness practices.
