Do you need to escape the news and escape for a while? Drop into New York in the 1950s with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime. It is just the right mix of purpose and comedy. You care about the character's plight without being overwhelmed by their obstacles. All while laughing at the hidden humor of it all. I watched this show a couple of years ago and recently started season one as I needed something to distract me from the bleak news around me....worked like a charm! I am certain that it will for you as well.
