You might have heard about the new video "The Heart Part 5" released by Kendrick Lamar last month. I saw it trending on CNN, Apple News, and of course, the entertainment news. Most of the chatter seemed to surround the computer graphics that transformed Kendrick into other known celebrities, which is pretty impressive. However, the lyrical breakdown during his time as each one of the celebrities is truly remarkable. I watched and listened, re-watched, and re-listened, then re-watched again. I cannot get enough of the intensity of the facial expressions brought to life through Kendrick. It is creative artistic expression in its highest form.
