Green Thumb

Who knew I had a green thumb? Well, a green thumb might be pushing it. But I have grown quite fond of plants, which all started shortly before Valentine’s Day when I saw the prettiest plant at an event and inquired about it. The lady told me what kind of plant it was and began telling me a few details about the origin of the plant and how she cared for it.  In addition to not knowing what she was talking about, I thought, “That is a lot of effort for a plant,” and went on my way. But that day, I told my husband that I wanted a plant. So, for Valentine’s Day, guess what I got? That’s right, a plant! My very first house plant. Of course, since February, I have gotten several more and consider myself a prominent part of the Plant parent community.
