Do Not Disturb

June 8, 2022

Did you know that you can place most phones on “Do Not Disturb”? You will not receive notifications about the news, text messages, social media, or phone calls during this time.

You can make an exception or two for emergency contacts to get through, but other than that, your phone will not vibrate, light up, or ring. Do not Disturb is my default setting. I appreciate focusing on the moment without my phone competing for my attention. I have set times that I check my phone during the day, and it has made an enormous difference in my productivity as well as my mood. My anxiety level has improved by removing my phone from the equation. Maybe it will do the same for you?
