Right now, I cannot stop listening to Cleo Sol. Her album called “Mother” came out in late 2021 and seems to be an ode to the transition of motherhood, a transition she has recently made. Miss Cleo writes much of her work, which is why the melody is soulful, and the lyrics make you sit and think. My favorite song on the Mother album is called “Promises.” I often find myself humming, “things are changing, but I’m still here.” It is so true!
